Supporting War Refugees in the US

Helping those seeking protection in the US to rebuild their lives and find new purposes through getting involved in helping others.

According to the Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), since April 2022, the United States has received more than 85,000 Ukrainians under the Uniting for Ukraine program. Losing a familiar life and building a new one in a foreign country is a serious test of sustainability even for those who planned the move and prepared for it.

Search for housing and work, overcoming the language barrier, getting used to a new social and cultural environment. Forced migrants have to solve additional tasks: restoring mental health that was impaired as a result of traumatic events, restoring the motivational-demanding sphere, overcoming an identity crisis, establishing positive relationships with the local population, etc.

Goal

The purpose of this project is to provide assistance to forced migrants who have lost their homes and ordinary lives as a result of the war in Ukraine and who are faced with the difficulties of finding a new home in the United States.

We offer

translation services- assistance with understanding documents, rules and policies;

introducing the refugees to available community resources and programs;

provide information about education and job opportunities;

we also help the refugees to find opportunities for self-realization in helping others in need.

We help the refugees to restore their human dignity and psychological integrity!
